Draw-Tite Sportframe Trailer Hitch Receiver Installation - 2024 Hyundai Venue- Video

Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at Etrailer and today we're taking a look at installing the Draw-Tite trailer hitch receiver on a 2024 Hyundai Venue. This is what your hitch is gonna look like when it's installed on your Venue and it is gonna be an exposed cross tube, meaning you're gonna see a good portion of the hitch hanging down on the fascia, but this car does hit relatively low so you're really not gonna see a whole lot unless you're directly behind. And you do have a inch and a quarter inch receiver tube opening. And this is a class one hitch and generally, you're gonna find those on smaller vehicles, things that really aren't designed to tow trailers. Now that's not to say you can't do that with this, I personally have an inch quarter on my car that I use for a bike rack, you can also put a cargo carrier on there, and I can pull a small kayak trailer if necessary. And our neighbor today is gonna be using it to take the trash to the dump site at the RV site that way they don't have to use their camper. more

The great part is it's a hidden cross tube, so really the only thing that you're gonna see on the external part of the vehicle is gonna be your receiver tube opening while the rest of it lives behind the fascia, giving you a nice clean look but all the usability of your hitch. Our receiver tube opening is two inch by two inch, which is gonna be kind of the standard. So when it comes to accessories, whether it be a ball mount, cargo carrier or bike rack, you're gonna have tons of options available. Now all of them are gonna stay in place with a five eighths pin and clip, which is not included with the hitch. A lot of times when you pick up accessories, they'll have one included. more

Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer and today we're taking a look and installing the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver on a 2024 Hyundai Palisade. It's a really nice design because it's a hidden cross tube, which means the only thing that you're gonna see visible when installed is gonna be your 2 inch by 2 inch receiver tube opening while the rest of it hides behind the fascia, giving you a nice clean look. This size is gonna allow you to get a ton of different options when it comes to bike racks, cargo carriers, or ball mounts, and any of those accessories are gonna stay in place with a 5/8 pin and clip. Now it does not come with the hitch. A lot of times when you pick up your accessories they'll have a pin and clip included, but if you want to keep your accessories loaded on your vehicle and not have to worry about people walking away with your accessories, you can pick up a locking version of these pin and clips here at etrailer, which is a little bit more peace of mind. We have a rolled style safety chain loop here, which is gonna be great if you plan on towing a trailer to be able to hook up your safety chains, whether it be a standard S hook or even a larger clevis style goes on here with no problem. more

So it gives it a nice clean OEM look. And something that I really like about the etrailer hitch is the matte black finish. Not only is it a little bit more stealthy underneath the vehicle, but also the finish makes it to where it's a little less easy to scratch. Whereas the other options available of hitches are gonna be a Draw-Tite or a CURT which are gonna install exactly the same. more

And if you're not a fan of that, and you want a little bit cleaner OEM look with just the receiver end down, you can take a look at the Curt or etrailer hitches, which are gonna be a hidden cross tube design. They also do have a little bit higher capacity but the Draw-Tite does have a few added benefits. Well one of 'em I should say, is gonna be this welded on tab and that way if you are planning on doing trailer wiring, you can easily put a bracket onto here and get your fore pole mounted up. Taking a closer look, it is a two inch by two inch receiver tube opening, which is gonna be kind of the standard for a lot of your accessories, whether it's ball mounts, cargo carriers, or bike racks. more

You can see it butts up right against the bottom of our fascia, but there's no trimming required. Hey everybody, how's it going Today we're gonna be going over and show how to install the Stealth Hitches, Hidden Rack Receiver here on a 2022 Hyundai Palisade. So here's what our trailer hitch is gonna look like installed on our vehicle. And if we look underneath the bumper, you'll be able to see that there's nothing actually shown. That's sort of the main draw of this trailer hitch here and that it has a completely hidden installation look when we're not using it. Now, when we are ready to use it, it's very simple to simply take our rack receiver here, find the latching mechanism on the bottom of the vehicle, remove your rubber cap, make sure it's unlocked and then just simply align the knob with the opening and press up to lock it in place. Hello neighbors it's Brad here at etrailer and today we're taking a look and installing the Draw-Tite class three trailer hitch on a 2022 Hyundai Santa Cruz. So here we have our trailer hitch actually installed on the vehicle and you can see what it looks like. Now it does have an exposed cross tube, so you can see the hitch underneath it but the Santa Cruz does kind of find itself in it, kind of a niche market and the fact that it's not exactly on a truck frame but it is still a truck, so it pulls this exposed cross tube off pretty well. Now taking a closer look here, you can see it is a two inch by two inch receiver tube opening with a reinforced collar. So that's gonna be really good for a lot of your different accessories whether be a bike rack, a cargo carrier, maybe even a ball mount for a small trailer. Now you're also going to see that this is a nice black powder coat finish, so it gives it a really good look to it and also long term, this is gonna stay looking nice rather than corroded and rusted just while driving on the road and getting that road grime on there. more

The cross tube is gonna be visible, but the whole entirety of the hitch is tucked up so far up underneath the bumper, unless you're really getting down on your knees, you're really not even gonna notice that it's there. The receiver tube is also tucked up pretty far underneath the bumper. It's a 1 1/4 by 1 1/4 inch receiver, so it's gonna be great for light duty applications. more

Curt Trailer Hitch Installation - 2021 Hyundai Tucson- Video

Today, we're going to be going over and showing you how to install the Curt trailer hitch receiver here on a 2021 Hyundai Tucson. Adding a trailer hitch to your Tucson is going to be an excellent option because it's going to make your vehicle that much more versatile. Now we can obviously use our trailer hitch for towing, but if we wanted to hit the trails or free up some space inside the vehicle for those long car trips we could certainly attach either a hitch mounted bike rack or hitch mounted cargo carrier. So in regards to towing, our trailer hitch here has a class three rating. That's going to provide us with a 3,500 pound gross trailer weight rating. That's the amount we can pull outward on receiver tube. more

Today, we're going to be going over and showing you how to install the etrailer, trailer hitch receiver, here on a 2014 Hyundai Santa Fe. So here's what our trailer hitch is going to look like installed now with the etrailer hitch something that they do that I really like it's going to be in regards to the finish. So our etrailer brand of pitches here, they use a matte finish and compared to some of the other glossier trailer hitch finish options such as those from Draw-Tite and Curt the matte does a little bit better job in my opinion of blending in with the vehicle. And it also does a little bit better job of helping hiding the nicks and scratches that a trailer hitch has on the underside of the vehicle. It's also going to obviously protect the hitch from rust and corrosion as well. So adding a trailer hitch to your Santa Fe is going to be an excellent option. more
